Love Is Blind S5: A Tragic and Wasteful Affair

First Impressions

As you may or may not know, Season 5 of the Netflix love show, Love is Blind, dropped about three weeks ago, and it has been the chatter all over social media. I have been keeping up with it and I have a lot of thoughts about it, especially about each and every couple. First things first, why would Netflix film this whole season of Love Is Blind and only have three couples go to the next stage?? And three of the most boring couples mind you! They could literally have shown us other people get engaged and we see more content, as compared to just watching a weepy Johnnie cry over ex-boyfriends.

Secondly, why do Netflix producers never show us the black contestants? We literally had some fine black women and they did not even get any air time! It has honestly been a waste of a season and I cannot stress that enough. Below, I will rate and talk about the Love Is Blind couples that got the most air time.

What a waste of time, Scrape the whole thing!

Wow I do not even know where to begin with these two. Uche is definitely the worst person on this whole show, probably since the inception of Love Is Blind on Netflix. What a condescending narcissist. Brother thinks that just because he is a lawyer, he is better than everybody. How could he not even recognize Lydia’s voice the first time? What a loser. Lydia is definitely a little over the top, but I do not think she has done too much wrong. So glad they did not work out and I hope they both move on from this.

The most boring couple to ever grace our screens. The end.

I actually really liked Stacy, had a good head on her shoulders. Izzy is not the macho man they want him to be. They looked okay as a couple, but Izzy definitely does not have anything to offer Stacy, and they will probably not work.

Milton is definitely still a kid and wants to act mature, but this brother is not ready for marriage. Not at all. Lydia wants to be loved so badly that she will accept anything and anyone. Out of all the couples, they do work the best though. The 6 year age difference will definitely catch up to them though. Milton certainly has a lot of growing up to do, but he has behaved the best on the show so far. Kudos to them
